This course introduces the fundamental ideas of economics and shows how they help us understand real‑world issues in business and society. Students will first learn basic tools from mathematics and statistics, then study how markets work through the core concepts of demand, supply, and equilibrium. The course then broadens to key macroeconomic indicators, money and economic policy, and finally explores social and experimental approaches to economic behavior. Throughout the semester, students will connect these ideas to current topics and practical examples relevant for International Business Management. |
